These flags (eight in all) were installed on the roof of Lillstreet Art Center in Chicago in the summer of 2006. They were visible from the El tracks and the Metra trains.

This work was inspired by an old autograph book entry, "If in heaven we do not meet, hand in hand we'll stand the heat..."
