Solo show opens in Chicago on May 13th! (Spring 2011)
Please mark your calendars for the opening reception of Red Sky at Night, my first solo show with Packer Schopf Gallery in Chicago on May 13th. The exhibit will continue through June 18th. Check back to the website in May for pictures. Hope to see you there!
Squam Art Workshops
The first weekend in June I'll be headed to New Hampshire to teach three embroidery classes at Squam Art Workshops.....hope to see you there!

Writ Deep at Northern Illinois University (Summer 10)
Coming up this August, my work will be included in a group exhibition, Writ Deep, curated by Shannon Stratton at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, there will be a closing reception on September 23.
100 Years of Ox-Bow at the Grand Rapids Art Museum (Summer 10)
I am proud to say that a piece of mine is included in this centennial exhibition on view through the end of August at the Grand Rapids Art Museum. Work from artists who have taught, taken classes, and been resident artists at Ox-Bow, the summer school that I have taught at the last two summers, is included. If you're in Michigan, check it out! The new museum location/ building is beautiful!
Collaborative Show at Buena Vista University (Winter 10)
A few of my own pieces, as well as a collaborative project with Ursula McCarty are on display now at the gallery at Buena Vista University in Iowa. I wrote a little about it over on the Lillstreet blog.
Connective Threads- Brooklyn! (Winter 10)
My work is now up in a group show in Brooklyn at Sweet Lorraine Gallery (in Red Hook) called Connective Threads. The show has gotten some nice reviews, here and here.

The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago (Spring 09)
This coming Tuesday I will be a visiting artist at the MCA in Chicago. Please come and pay a visit at this informal drop in "sewing circle." Bring knitting, embroidery, etc.
I'll be there working on a new project and answering questions.
